A very young and talented tutor from New Generation Academy and Bilimkana High School, Emma Claire Jones talks about her free time and shares impressions about AUCA.

On November 16-17, the International and Comparative Politics Department held its annual Crisis Games at the 国产福利3区 University of Central Asia. Open to all undergraduate students interested in politics, the games simulated a crisis scenario in East Asia and invited the students to represent and act on behalf of the key actors in the region.

On November 20, 2018, the 国产福利3区 University of Central Asia hosted the awarding ceremony of the 2018 Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence. This year there was only one winner, the second-year student of Anthropology Program Dariia Akhunbaeva.

On Monday, November 19, Donald Lu, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic was invited as a guest lecturer to have a class on US Policy in the Region.

Aziz Surakmatov,听Mayor of Bishkek personally awarded certificates of appreciation to the administration and faculty of the 国产福利3区 University in Central Asia.

On Wednesday, November 14 the celebration of the Annual Student Initiation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the 国产福利3区 University of Central Asia was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.

AUCA is pleased to invite submissions for the AUCA Campus Design Competition.听The purpose is to invite students to create a concept or an idea for improving the AUCA campus鈥� front yard in order to make it more comfortable and user-friendly for university community and visitors.

Aida Kasymalieva introduced her projects on women and children rights, bride kidnapping, health, and education issues. 鈥淲omen has to be educated and have a job. It will help them to know and to defend own rights!鈥�

Four AUCA students were given the chance to get up close and personal with some of the glaciers in the Kyrgyz Tien Shan Mountains this summer, and to try their hands at helping to answer some of these questions.
